”Sam and I went to see so many wedding venues once we got engaged but nothing gave us the immediate wow feeling until we went to South Farm. On a cold January morning we were welcomed by the lovely girls with hot drinks and a wonderful tour. After the tour, we knew we wanted to get married outside in the summerhouse so immediately booked an August date! From start to finish and through all the planning, they talked us through everything South Farm had to offer! They are such an organised team but give such a relaxed vibe. Nothing was off limits; they gave us free reign to decorate the barn and grounds however we pleased! My top 3 highlights of the venue are as follows; 1. The Setting. The grounds are beautiful; perfect for relaxed wedding photographs. There are Lots of secret places for your photographer to seek out. We even got a trip in a tuk tuk on the day to a secret spot! 2. The staff! Our wedding planner on the day went above and beyond for us. Making sure every detail was perfect. I can’t fault any of the staff they really are superb. 3. The food! The food and drinks were phenomenal ( all the guests commented!) The tasting evening was a brilliant night out in itself and the big day did not disappoint. There were lots of options for dietary requirements and they were also fantastic with the kids we invited with some fantastic food options and a gingerbread man place setting! South Farm is a perfect venue for any type of wedding.”

Our personal style of service will help you create a bespoke wedding package that ensures you have a wonderful day to remember, unique to you.
”Laura Ashley The Manor really is a one of a kind venue. The exclusivity of the wedding package, unlike many other hotels, offers the use of the entire hotel so there is no need for a marquee. The venue is a perfect setting all year round. We got married in June, when the lawns were lush and the sun shone through the lovely stain glass windows but we also had our engagement shoot there in December, where the garden was beautifully frosty and the lake was perfect for silhouette shots. The hotel was wonderfully decorated with the Christmas tree standing boldly in the foyer for some festive fun photos. The wedding co-ordinators are very professional and fill you full of confidence that they will make sure your wedding day everything you want it to be. They are always happy to discuss and accommodate any unique wedding ideas you may have. The staff on our wedding day were flawless and always at hand to help, from setting up garden games and a sweetie table, to hand wrapping flower centre pieces for us to give away as presents, the staff could not have been better. The quality and standard of food, wine and service you will receive from The Manor helps make your big day even more special! We would highly recommend!”

The Sculpture Gallery, Woburn Abbey
It starts with the drive through the 3,000-acre deer park that leads up to the historic setting of The Sculpture Gallery. Set in the beautiful grounds of Woburn Abbey, The Sculpture Gallery, constructed during 1789 and 1790 for the fifth Duke of Bedford with its own private rose garden and lake is one of the most majestic and elegant settings imaginable for wedding ceremonies and receptions up to 250 guests with exclusive use of the venue.
Every wedding at The Sculpture Gallery is bespoke and with the support of the experienced team, they can offer the flexibility to organise the day of your dreams with countless photographic opportunities that provide the perfect backdrop to capture and create those all-important special memories.
What makes The Sculpture Gallery different is the team that go above and beyond with a mantra of ‘Excellence is the only standard’.
Affirming The Sculpture Gallery’s status as one of the most celebrated places to be married at in the UK, The Sculpture Gallery are delighted to announce that they have once again been included in the prestigious Conde Nast Brides Magazine’s Best 100 Wedding Guide 2018.
Brides Magazine is the UK’s number one bridal magazine and comes from the same publishing house as Vogue, Tatler and Glamour, achieving a place in their 2018 guide is well earned, with many 5-star locations such as The Savoy, Claridge’s, Hampton Court Palace and Mandarin Oriental also included.
Their dedicated team work tirelessly to ensure that those getting married at The Sculpture Gallery have a perfect day and to have made the list once again is a huge achievement, of which I’m sure they are very proud.
”From the moment we entered the sculpture gallery, Kevin and I knew that was the place we wanted to spend our wedding day. With gorgeous high windows that brought sunlight and greenery from the gardens inside and the majestic pillars that decorated the room we felt that this really was a once-in-a-life-time venue choice for us.
We had scoured Herts in search of something special for our Big Day however that moment we walked through the doors, we knew our search was over; it was truly breathtaking.
After our tour inside was complete (noticing the bar location was close and that the dance floor was big enough for our guests and a band was another thing ticked off the list!) we began our walk outside. Private gardens and a lake…need I say more!
Come rain or shine, I knew that this was THE place for us.”

Hastoe Village Hall nestles in the rural hamlet of Hastoe, on the Bucks/Herts border in the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Just over a mile south of Tring, and 20 minutes from the M25, the Hall is perfectly situated for churches and registry offices in both Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
”We both wanted a venue that was local to us and our church and we had two front runners; one of which was a hotel that offered a selection of prescriptive packages, but we didn’t feel we would be able to create a personal and relaxed atmosphere in this type of venue and instantly fell in love with Hastoe. The high beamed ceiling, cleanly finished interiors and separate spaces including a kitchen (made for caterers), library (which we used as a kids room to give them space to play) and obviously toilets (a disabled toilet too that was also important to us with 2 guests using wheelchairs).
Hastoe Village Hall was the first thing we booked and so the rest of our planning started there. We used the muted green tone on the cladding and white walls and beams as a colour scheme and felt the rural area should be reflected in our choice of natural materials and decoration. The main organiser for the Hall was very accommodating and allowed us access on our own after the first visit. We were able to take our parents to see the space and get measurements as and when we needed them. We were also able to have furniture delivered to create a relaxed bar space and a tent outside that we used as a photo booth. The Hall gave us a list of suppliers that we used for the caterers, photographer, entertainment and flowers. All of which we would recommend and knew we could rely on because they knew and had used the venue before. Hastoe is a blank canvas ready for the DIY couple who want to create their own design for a dream wedding.
We want to do it all again!”

The level of service provided is second to none and our talented team of creative chefs can cater for all dietary requirements.
”We’d visited quite a few different wedding venues and thought they were all nice, but we never found one that we completely fell in love with. But then we went to see Ashridge house!
As soon as we entered the house and saw that beautiful main hall with the fairytale staircase & the stunning fireplace, I was completely smitten. I remember grabbing my now husband Rohan’s arm with excitement, hoping the rest of the house would be just as impressive, and it was!
When it came to planning our big day, the staff were so professional and helpful, with our wedding co-ordinator Chloe being an absolute delight. Nothing we asked for was a problem and they had every small detail covered.
On the day itself, I can still remember sneaking up the secret stairs and getting ready to walk down that fairytale staircase with my Dad. Zoe has a great photo of Rohan looking up just as the music starts which puts a massive smile on my face whenever I see it. The rest of the day is a bit of a blur and I just remember effortlessly moving through the house – and gardens thanks to some fortunate September sunshine – as our amazing day unfolded.”
